mellie is dedicated to being the bridge between teenage voices and policymakers. with an anonymous form and wall, mellie is a youth-led, grassroots campaign.originating from the idea of The Unsent Project, mellie is a safe space for all teenagers struggling with mental health.

Mattie Stinson and Tejasvi Shirolkar are rising seniors (and good friends) at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham, North Carolina. When together, you may see them grabbing a bite to eat or frolicking around. They are especially passionate about advocating for their local communities and helping battle the mental health crisis.
